The nursery of Casa
Lanzarotti produces organically grown seedlings certified by ICEA.
The nursery prepares the seeflings from seed and various cultivars of Lavender from cuttings (bare foot of hybrid Lavender).
The production of plants from seed is done on customer request. About 500,000 seedlings are produced annually in over 70 different species (see the list).
For plants not included into the list please submit a request of quotation.
The plants from seed grow in polystyrene foam trays of 160 holes (having a diameter of 3 cm). Seed quality is guaranteed by the best European suppliers and by internal comparative tests.
Reproduction of plants from seed in spring is based on orders received by the end of January. Deliveries generally take place between April and May.
The production of Lavender cuttings tops at about 20,000 plants per year and consists of Abrialis, Sumiens, Grosso and BAM (White Lavender) hybrids.
Cuttings are available from October to late February.
