uThe surroundings of the farm offer numerous opportunities of leisure: horse and bike riding, excursions on the Appennin hills, visits to castles and ancient hamlets, flaura and fauna observation, mushroom picking, bathing in rivers, WWF park, local fairs and markets, farmers' museums and galleries.
uThere are also more distant excursion opportunities: the Regional Park of the 100 Lakes, the seaside and the coast of the Cinque Terre (UNESCO world heritage) that are reachable in about one hour by train or by car, so are towns such as Parma, Berceto, Varese Ligure, Pontremoli, La Spezia and Carrara.
